On January 12, 2010 an earthquake of magnitude 7.0 struck Haiti. Within the next few days, several aftershocks ranging in magnitude from 4.2 to 5.9 occurred.
On January 20th an aftershock of magnitude 5.9 which epicenter was almost located exactly under Petit-Goâve according to the U.S. Geological Survey struck again. |
